Selecting Tour Operator

Probably the most important decision in planning a trek of Kilimanjaro is selecting a reputable and experienced tour operator.  After reviewing operator recommendations in our guidebooks, picking our desired price range, and researching an inordinant number of tour operators on the web, we finally decided to go with Team Kilimanjaro for our climb.  They have a great website and have been running trips on the mountain for more than 10 years.  They claim they do about 200 climbs per year.  Check them out at teamkilimanjaro.com.
